Samir Sheth is SVP, Head of Membership and Commerce at ŌURA. He leads a team focused on delivering a high-value, engaging digital commerce experience for purchasers and a best-in-class membership experience for Oura's 1M+ members. He also oversees the creation of much of Oura's health education and guidance content across lifecycle channels and the Oura blog.
He was previously SVP, Head of Content, at Morning Brew (acquired by Insider Inc)., and Chief Business Officer and Publisher at News Deeply (merged into The New Humanitarian). He joined News Deeply from Spotlight Fund, a venture fund he co-founded, and he previously led digital development and partnerships at Bertelsmann and digital and corporate strategy at Sony Music. He started his career as a consultant at McKinsey & Co. and holds a degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
He is the co-founder of thisisforHER, a women's mental health non-profit, and is an active angel investor in several health-tech startups.
Originally hailing from Missouri, Samir now lives in New York with his wife, an author and psychiatrist, and two sons.
