Matthew Martorano is the CEO and Founder of Checkout Champ, a high-performance e-commerce platform designed to help online merchants maximize conversions and profitability. He began his career in the U.S. Army then transitioned into the business world in the membership services and loyalty industries, where he spent over 14 years as VP of Sales. During this time, he helped build a credit card loyalty division from $0 to over $100M in sales, ultimately reaching more than 12 million consumers.
He later founded a DTC product company, and to better control cost and quality, launched his own call center managing inbound sales, customer service, and product fulfillment. He drove thousands of calls weekly through print, radio, and online advertising. To streamline operations, he developed a custom CRM system to manage sales transactions, fulfillment, and support.
He then decided to bring this game changing technology to other Direct to Consumer companies as a SaaS platform. Then in 2018, Matthew saw a major gap in e-commerce platforms related to performance, customization, and content control. This insight led to the creation of Checkout Champ, a platform empowering online merchants with drag-and-drop checkout and sales page builders. Its rapid success demonstrated a massive demand for a merchant-first, high-performance solution.
