What are the criteria to be considered for the competition?

You own/operate a DTC subscription business that’s less than 2 years old OR you implemented a subscription offering within your business model in the last two years.

You can tell us what you plan on doing with the prize package if you win it.

What kind of companies are you looking for?

Growth-minded businesses with owners who are excited to share their stories, have carefully crafted strategies to take their companies to the next level, but need additional support to make it happen.

What was last year’s event like?

After hundreds of applications were received, only four contestants competed for the $50,000 grand prize in Orlando, Fla. Watch a replay of the event right here.

If I don’t get selected for the first round, do I have to re-submit an application for the second round?

No! You already spent valuable time filling out our application, we’ll take it from there. If you have not been selected for the first round, the SubSummit committee will look at your application and determine if you should be featured in the second round.

How long do I have to pitch for?

Semifinalist pitches happening virtually should last NO longer than three minutes. The final round will allow contestants to pitch for five minutes. Each pitch will be followed by questions from the judges throughout each round.

Where will the Pitch Competition take place?

Contestants will pitch virtually during the first two rounds of the competition and then pitch LIVE at SubSummit 2023 in Dallas, TX on June 1.

Do I have to purchase a SubSummit 2023 ticket if I am a pitch competition finalist?

No! In fact, all your travel arrangements will be covered by SUBTA if you make it to the final round.
