Michael is currently the VP of Risk and Finance at Procuremint Inc, responsible for hedging out risks of procurement for subscription boxes. The main focus is currency risk. Michael will take speculative hedges in the currency markets, ETF’s, and SWAP markets to protect against currency fluctuations. Michael has prior experience working with one of the largest insurance companies in the world, overseeing internal investment related decisions including the company’s own General Fund. The team Michael worked on had oversight over $100 billion in assets. Michael has completed the both Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation.
