I manage the affiliate marketing efforts across BarkBox and it’s subsidiaries (BarkShop & Super Chewer BarkBox). I joined BarkBox in July of 2016 to grow and manage the affiliate program taking it from 3% of the total business in 2016 to 24% of BarkBox subscriptions in Q4 of 2017. I’ve worked in affiliate marketing for 7 years across several verticals including home decor, travel, and student loans. Working in the dog subscription service is definitely the most fun of those verticals. It’s impossible to have a bad day when there’s several dogs in the office you can play with.
I have an 11 year old coonhound that adopted on a whim in college who still has the energy of a puppy. Her name and Layla and was named after the Eric Clapton song that played on the way home from her shelter. Looking to adopt another dog soon but a much smaller breed as living in a city isn’t the best for bigger dogs.
In 2018 I’m most excited to grow the affiliate marketing channel of BarkBox to at least 30% of overall subscriptions and hopefully being apart of this company going public.
