Frequently Asked Questions

What is the deadline to apply?

Applications are now closed. Please tune in July 22 to see 10 semifinalists pitch their businesses for a chance to win $20k in cash and prizes. RSVP for Free.

Who is eligible to apply?

We’d love to hear from direct-to-consumer subscription companies that were founded two or fewer years ago. These brands should have a growth strategy and a clear understanding of how they’d use this investment to strengthen their business.

If I don’t make it in the first round of virtual pitching, do I need to reapply for the second?

No. The SUBTA team will review all applicants for consideration in the second round of semifinalist virtual pitches.

What will the Pitch Competition winner receive?

$10,000 in cash and up to $10,000 of in-kind subscription services from SUBTA and its partners.

What do I get if I don’t win?

Pitch competitions are a great way to get exposure for your brand, refine your elevator pitch and gain actionable feedback on your business strategy. You also get to learn from your peers and our judges as you look to grow within the subscription space!

Do I need to travel to Dallas, TX?

Twenty semifinalists will be pitching virtually. Four finalists will be flown to Texas for the final round of pitches (up to $500 flight reimbursement).
